About
Rooted in the Bay

SF Music Week is San Francisco's gathering for the Bay Area music community: a week of partner events across the city and two conference days that bring artists, industry leaders, creators and policymakers into one room.
Why it exists
A platform for the city's music community
SF Music Week celebrates the city's rich music legacy and exists to strengthen the sector's growth and economic vitality. The week spotlights partner events across San Francisco's renowned music scene and presents two conferences, the Industry Summit and Artist Development Day, that bring together creators, innovators and industry leaders to inspire collaboration, share knowledge and advance the future of music in the Bay Area.
San Francisco has an incredible music industry, and SF Music Week was created to give the local music community a dedicated place to connect, learn and collaborate: networking opportunities, educational resources and room for new ideas, all focused on the specific needs and opportunities facing the San Francisco music industry.
The 2027 edition runs February 15 to 21, with the Industry Summit on Friday, February 19 and Artist Development Day on Saturday, February 20 at the Wilsey Center in the War Memorial Veterans Building.
